Operation and Maintenance Services for Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB Bangalore)

UEM has won the contract for providing O&M services to five Sewage Treatment Plants under BWSSB for a period of seven years. These STPs of 1000 KLD Victoria, 300 KLD Bowering, 200 KLD Jayanagar, 200 KLD KC General & 15 KLD Goushia Hospital are based on the ‘Conventional Activated Sludge Process’.
UEMs O&M services will include minor & major repair of equipments of the sites as well as the supply of spares required to run the STPs efficiently.
The Wastewater from the different Hospitals is channeled to the different STP sites through a sewerage network. All the treatment sites have been staffed with Technical manpower from different disciplines to ensure that the sites run smoothly.

Operation Maintenance and Monitoring of 100M3/ HR TPS RO (Reverse Osmosis) Plant, at IOCL Haldia Refinery for 1 year.

A feather was added to UEM’s cap when we bagged the contract to provide Technical Monitoring and O&M services to IOCL Haldia Refinery for the third time in a row. We have been providing Operations & Maintenance services to IOCL Haldia for the past two years. The RO plant has a Pre-filtration with DMF and UF prior to RO. The water being processed is Irrigation water. The plant performs the crucial function of providing support to various utilities in the IOCL-Haldia Refinery.


UEM has bagged yet another prestigious project in the NCR region.
This project that we have undertaken is for Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC).
HSIIDC was incorporated in 1967, with the objectives to develop industrial infrastructure in the State of Haryana under the aegis of Department of Industries and Commerce, Haryana.
HSIIDC has established an ‘Industrial Model Township’ at Manesar in 4358 acres of Land in Phase- I to VII. This industrial township comprises of 9 sectors (One Residential, two commercial & Six Industrial) for various type of industries having different characteristics of industrial effluent. At present phases I to VI comprising of 3628 acres of land has already been developed and requires treatment of effluent before final disposal on land/drain. At present the township has a CETP.
UEM will design, engineer, procure, construct, install & commission on a turnkey basis a new CETP of 25 MLD Capacity and the Up-gradation of existing CETP of 15MLD to 30MLD, with 120 months Operation & Maintenance of both the CETP’s for an average total effluent discharge of 55 MLD.

The Project Commenced in the month of February 2014.

Waste Water Treatment Plant for JBF Mangalore PTA Plant

UEM was awarded a prestigious contract in November 2013 to build a WWTP for JBF Petrochemicals Ltd.
JBF with Technip as PMC is developing a 1.25 MMT p.a. capacity ‘Purified Terephthalic Acid’ (PTA) plant, which will be amongst the largest in India, in SEZ, Mangalore. JBF needed an Effluent Treatment Plant to treat all liquid effluent streams coming from this PTA plant, and Utility Units.
UEM was selected to construct the WWTP consisting of Surge and Equalization System, Anaerobic Treatment System (including UASB reactor System & Bio gas handling system), Aerobic Treatment Section, Water Reuse Section – Tertiary Treatment by Ultra Filtration, heavy metal removal system & Reverse Osmosis system, Sludge handling & separation System. The treated water will be used for Cooling Tower make –up.
UEM will be looking after the entire Design, Construction and Engineering for the project, supply of equipment, testing of equipment, erection and commissioning of the complete treatment system including civil, technical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation work.
